NHL: Pittsburgh 6, Toronto 4

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Sydney Crosby and Maxime Talbot scored twice each Saturday night, as the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Toronto Maple Leafs, 6-4.

Crosby's second goal of the contest -- and second of the new season -- snapped a 4-4 tie at 14:38 of the third period.

Pittsburgh's Erik Christensen and Ryan Malone both scored once.

Adam Hall had two assists, while goalies Marc-Andre Fleury and Dany Sabourin combined to give up four goals on 27 Toronto shots for the Penguins, who have split four games.

Toronto's Darcy Tucker, Nik Antropov, Mats Sundin and Jason Blake all scored once.

Alexander Steen had two assists, and goalie Vesa Toskala was beaten five times on 51 shots for the Maple Leafs, who have split their last four contests.

On the power play, Pittsburgh went scoreless on eight chances, while Toronto failed to score in six opportunities.
