COL FB: Oregon 53, Washington St. 7

EUGENE, Ore., Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Dennis Dixon passed for three touchdowns and ran for another Saturday afternoon, as eighth-ranked Oregon defeated Washington State, 53-7.

Dixon was 21-for-28 with 287 yards and Jeremiah Johnson rushed for two touchdowns for the Ducks (5-1, 2-1 Pac-10). Jaison Williams caught four passes for 108 yards and a touchdown.

Alex Brink passed for 251 yards and a touchdown and Jeshua Anderson caught four passes for 127 yards for the Cougars (2-5, 0-4) who have lost their last four games.
