DENVER, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Quarterback Philip Rivers threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns Sunday, leading the San Diego Chargers to a 41-3 victory over the Denver Broncos.

The Chargers, who last week lost to Kansas City, are now 2-3, as are the Broncos.

For the first time in his 10 NFL starts, Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler failed to throw a touchdown pass. He completed 23 of 36 passes for 232 yards with one interception.

Denver receiver Javon Walker did not play for the second game in a row due to a knee injury, while both Brandon Stokley and Nate Jackson left the game with injuries.
