SHANGHAI, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Sunday’s Chinese Grand Prix at the Shanghai International Speedway was won by Kimi Raikkonen after a driving error by championship favorite Lewis Hamilton.
Raikkonen crossed the finish line 9.806 seconds ahead of Fernando Alonso after Hamilton spun into the gravel trap and got stuck near the end of the race.

The 56-lap event was the 14th win for the No. 6 Ferrari driver and the 200th for Ferrari.
Even after the loss Hamilton still leads the drivers championship with 107 points, but Alonso is just four points behind with 103 and Raikkonen is just seven points behind with 100.
The season finale will be held on Oct. 21 in Brazil.
