NEW YORK, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Chris Drury scored the go-ahead goal Thursday night as the New York Rangers beat the Florida Panthers 5-2.
Florida had a 2-1 lead when Drury scored his first goal as a Ranger, flipping in a rebound of a Jaromir Jagr shot with 8:46 remaining. Drury also notched two assists.
Florida scored twice in the second as Brett MacLean and Nathan Horton had one goal apiece to help the Panthers build their 2-1 advantage.
Panthers' goalie Tomas Vokoun made 20 saves on 25 shots.
On the power play, Florida was 0-for-5 and the Rangers went 0-for-4.
