TORONTO, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Justin Ruggiano had two RBI Sunday, as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays ended their losing season on a winning note with an 8-5 victory over Toronto.
Ruggiano capped a five-run sixth inning for the Devil Rays with a run-scoring single that helped snap a four-game losing streak.
Tampa Bay came back from a 4-2 deficit in the sixth, which was highlighted by an RBI triple off the bat of Joel Guzman. A walk and three consecutive singles tied the contest, 4-4.
Ruggiano also had a run-scoring ground ball in the fifth.
Jason Hammel (3-5) gave up four runs on seven hits over five innings for the victory.
A.J. Burnett (10-8) took the loss with seven runs before departing in the sixth.
Carlos Pena homered and Akinori Iwamura had an RBI triple for the Devils Rays.
