COL FB: California 31, Oregon 24

EUGENE, Ore., Sept. 29 (UPI) -- DeSean Jackson caught two touchdown passes and Justin Forsett scored twice Saturday, leading No. 6 California to a 31-24 PAC-10 victory over No. 12 Oregon.

The Ducks just missed a chance to tie the game when Cameron Colvin, stretching to reach the goal line, fumbled out of the California end-zone for a touchback with 16 seconds remaining.

Jackson pulled in 11 catches for 161 yards for California (5-0, 2-0 Pac-10), and Forsett gained 101 yards on 23 carries. California quarterback Nate Longshore -- who missed a series late in the game with an apparent ankle injury -- completed 28-of-43 passes for 285 yards and two scores.

Dennis Dixon went 31-of-44 passing for 306 yards and a touchdown, but was intercepted twice for Oregon (4-1, 1-1). He also ran for a TD for the Ducks, who got 120 yards on 21 carries and a score from Jonathan Stewart.

Colvin finished with 74 yards on seven catches with a score for Oregon.
