Houston’s Hunter Pence and Eric Bruntlett also had one RBI, and one run scored on Lee's double-play groundout in the seventh. Seven players had one hit for the Astros, who have won six times in their last 10 games.

The winner was Dave Borkowski (5-3). Brad Lidge recorded his 18th save.

The loss ruined a brilliant effort by Cincinnati starter Matt Belisle, who had a perfect game through six innings. It was broken up by Josh Anderson’s lead-off single in the top of the seventh.

Cincinnati’s Edwin Encarnacion hit a two-run homer in the first.

Javier Valentin hit an RBI single in the ninth and five players had one hit each for the Reds, who have lost five straight.

The losing pitcher was Gary Majewski (0-4).
