MLB: Florida 6, Chi. Cubs 4

MIAMI, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Hanley Ramirez had two hits and two RBI Thursday as Florida again surprised the Chicago Cubs, 6-4, for a three-game sweep.

His sacrifice fly in the bottom of the second gave Florida a 3-1 lead, and a solo homer in the fifth, his 29th this season, increased the lead to 4-1.

Miguel Cabrera, Mike Jacobs, and Alejandro De Aza all had one RBI, while De Aza and Jeremy Hermida also had two hits for the Marlins, who are last in the NL East.

The winner was Scott Olsen (10-15), and Kevin Gregg earned his 31st save.

Chicago’s Aramis Ramirez had one run, four hits, and one RBI.

Alfonso Soriano and Jacque Jones both had two hits and one RBI, and one run scored on Caberara’s sixth inning throwing error as the Cubs lost for the fourth time in their last 10 games, and stranded 10 base-runners.

The losing pitcher was starter Steve Trachsel (1-3).
