MLB: Cleveland 4, Seattle 3 (12 inn.)

SEATTLE, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- A Kenny Lofton sacrifice fly in the top of the 12th inning Tuesday propelled Cleveland over Seattle 4-3 and wiped out the Mariners' playoff hopes.

Pinch-hitter Asdrubal Cabrera led off the 12th with a walk off Brandon Morrow (3-4). That brought in Rowland-Smith, whose errant pickoff attempt sent Cabrera racing to third. Lofton sent him home with a fly ball to center.
