Palmer was intercepted twice while Seattle’s defense limited the Bengals (1-2) to just two possessions in the fourth quarter. Both teams scored a touchdown and a field goal in the final quarter, but it was Seattle that held the ball for the final minute and kept Palmer on the sidelines.

The teams were largely evenly matched in the first half, as Seattle scored two touchdowns while the Bengals scored one TD and a field goal.

The Bengals defense chipped in by dropping Hasselbeck in the end zone for a safety that cut Seattle’s lead to 14-12 with 11:19 to play in the third quarter.
