NFL: New England 38, Buffalo 7

FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Tom Brady connected for four touchdowns, including a pair to a rejuvenated Randy Moss, as the New England Patriots cruised past visiting Buffalo 38-7 Sunday.

Brady completed a sharp 23-of-29 passes for 311 yards to lead the Patriots (3-0) to their eighth consecutive win over the winless Bills (0-3).

Moss’ five catches for 115 yards carried on what has become one of the hottest pairings in the young NFL season. He has had 100 yards receiving in each of his three games as a Patriot, an NFL record.

“He hasn't had that much time in the offense, but his production has been good,” Patriots Coach Bill Belichick said after the game. “Tom has been able to find him when he's been open and Randy has been able to convert.”

Buffalo briefly held a 7-3 lead in opening quarter on an 8-yard touchdown run that capped an 80-yard scoring drive. But New England stormed back with five unanswered touchdowns.

Brady hit Moss twice and Benjamin Watson and Jabar Gaffney once each.
