MLS: Real Salt Lake 1, Colorado 0

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Kyle Brown scored the game’s lone goal in the 30th minute Saturday night as Real Salt Lake beat Colorado, 1-0, in an MLS match at Salt Lake City.

Brown's fourth goal of the season ended a two-game skid, and a four-game winless streak, for RLS.

RSL improved to just 5-13-8.

The Rapids (7-11-8) took five shots on goal, but came up empty.

Colorado, which is winless in four games since its last victory -- 3-0, against Los Angeles Aug. 26 -- likely will miss the MLS post-season.
