COL FB: Hawaii 66, Charleston Southern 10

HONOLULU, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Hawaii -- without injured quarterback Colt Brennan -- handed Charleston Southern a 66-10 thumping in Honolulu Saturday night.

Backup quarterback Tyler Graunke completed 22-of-36 passes for 285 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions and ran for another score for Hawaii (4-0).

C.J. Hawthorne caught five passes for 91 yards and two scores. Third-string quarterback Inoke Funaki added another two TDs through the air in the fourth quarter.

Charleston quarterback Eli Byrd completed 13 of 31 passes for 184 yards and one touchdown for Southern (1-3).

Dee Brown had the only TD for the Buccaneers, a 57-yard reception in the first quarter.
