CLEVELAND, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Jhonny Peralta hit a game-tying two-run homer in the eighth and Casey Blake hit a solo homer in the 11th Monday as Cleveland beat Detroit 6-5.
Peralta hit his 19th and 20th homers of the season and had three walks for the Indians. Asdrubal Cabrera was 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the victory. Blake's homer was off Zach Miner (3-4).

Rafael Betancourt (5-1) got the win, allowing one hit with four strikeouts through two innings.
Placido Polanco was 3-for-5 with a solo home run and Carlos Guillen doubled twice with two runs scored for the Tigers, who saw their five-game winning streak come to an end.
Cleveland leads Detroit by 5 1/2 games in the American League Central.
