MLB: Milwaukee 5, Cincinnati 2

MILWAUKEE, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Carlos Villanueva threw seven scoreless innings and Joe Dillon drove in a career-best four runs Sunday, as the Milwaukee Brewers downed Cincinnati, 5-2.

Villanueva (8-4) scattered six hits while striking out four and walking three for Milwaukee, which entered the day one game behind Chicago for the NL Central lead.

Prince Fielder added an RBI in the win.

Matt Belisle (8-9) gave up five runs on six hits over six innings, while tying a career high with nine strikeouts for the Reds -- who have dropped two in a row since winning four straight.

Adam Dunn and Edwin Encarnacion each knocked in a run for Cincinnati.
