LINCOLN, Neb., Sept. 16 (UPI) -- John David Booty threw two TD passes and Chauncey Washington scored twice on the ground Saturday, as No. 1 Southern California beat No. 14 Nebraska, 49-31.
The Trojans (2-0) trailed, 10-7, in the second quarter, but then ripped off 35 unanswered points -- and dominated the Cornhuskers on the ground, gaining 313 rushing yards to just 31 for Nebraska (2-1).

Booty was 19-of-30 passing for 144 yards, and Stafon Johnson gained 144 yards and scored a touchdown for the Trojans.
Sam Keller completed 36-of-54 passes for 389 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions for the Cornhuskers.
