MLB: Florida 10, Colorado 2

DENVER, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Miguel Cabrera hit his first career grand slam Saturday, as the Florida Marlins pounded the Colorado Rockies, 10-2.

Cabrera was 3-for-5 with five RBI. Miguel Olivo had two doubles and three RBI for the Marlins, who have won four straight games.

Logan Kensing (1-0) earned the win with two innings of scoreless relief after Sergio Mitre allowed only one run and five hits with four walks over 4 2/3 innings.

Garrett Atkins had two hits and Yorvit Torrealba had an RBI double for Colorado, which has lost three straight.

Rookie right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez (3-4) lasted only three innings for Colorado. He gave up five runs on five hits.
