Wes Welker and Ben Watson caught the other touchdown passes from Brady, Laurence Maroney ran 20 times for 72 yards and Ellis Hobbs produced the longest kickoff return in NFL history -- 108 yards.

The previous record was 106 yards, established by Roy Green of the St. Louis Cardinals against Dallas 28 years ago.

New York's Chad Pennington was 16 of 21 for 167 yards and two touchdowns, but he injured his right ankle and left the game in the fourth quarter. He was replaced by Kellen Clemens.

Hobbs' kickoff return opened the second half and gave the Patriots a 21-7 lead. Moss then caught a 51-yard scoring pass midway through the third period to put the Patriots in front by three touchdowns.
