MLB: Colorado 6, San Francisco 5

DENVER, Sept. 5 (UPI) -- Brad Hawpe drove in Jamey Carroll in the bottom of the ninth Tuesday to give the Colorado Rockies a 6-5 win over the San Francisco Giants.

Hawpe had two RBI in the game, giving him 10 in his last 10 games.

Brian Wilson, who entered the game with a 0.73 ERA, walked Joe Koshansky in the bottom of the eighth and hit Yorvit Torrealba. Brad Hennessey (2-4) entered and Kaz Matsui singled to score pinch-runner Clint Barmes to tie the game at 5-5.

Manny Corpas (4-2) got the win after pitching a perfect ninth. Troy Tulowitzki hit his 19th homer of the season in the fifth inning.

Randy Winn hit a three-run homer as part of a four-run third for San Francisco, which has lost four in a row.
