NFL: Atlanta 13, Baltimore 10

ATLANTA, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Matt Prater's 45-yard fourth-quarter field goal Friday night boosted the Atlanta Falcons to a 13-10 exhibition victory over Baltimore.

Atlanta's Chris Redman, who previously played for Baltimore, completed 13 of 23 passes for 119 yards and a touchdown. The Falcons -- who have gone through the turmoil of Michael Vick's run-in with federal authorities on dog-fighting charges this summer -- will open the season against Minnesota.

Baltimore's Kyle Boller went nine of 15 for 144 yards and a score, while Demetrius Williams caught two passes for 78 yards and a touchdown. Boller hit Williams with a 59-yard scoring pass in the first period.

The Ravens will begin the season with a Monday night game at Cincinnati.
