COL FB: Georgia 35, Oklahoma St. 14

ATHENS, Ga., Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Sophomore Matthew Stafford hit 18-of-25 passes for 235 yards and two TDs Saturday to lead 13th-ranked Georgia to a 35-14 win over Oklahoma State.

Thomas Brown rushed for 46 yards and scored two touchdowns for the Bulldogs. Freshman tight end Bruce Figgins and Michael Moore each caught a touchdown pass in the victory.

Bobby Reid threw for 191 yards on 16-of-30 passing, with a touchdown and interception for the Cowboys, who were in the contest in the first half, but were out-scored 14-0 in the second half.

Adarius Bowman had four receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown in the loss.
