NFL: Jacksonville 31, Washington 14

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Two touchdown throws and 172 passing yards from Quinn Gray Thursday night helped the Jacksonville Jaguars beat Washington in their exhibition finale, 31-14.

LaBrandon Toefield rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown and Roy Manning scored on a 27-yard interception return for the Jaguars (3-1), who open the regular season at home against Tennessee.

Jacksonville starting quarterback Byron Leftwich was held out of the game. His backup, David Garrard, completed seven of 10 passes for 77 yards.

Washington starter Jason Campbell played one series and drove the Redskins to their only touchdown -- which came on a 23-yard pass to Antwaan Randle El. Washington (2-2) opens at home against Miami.
