SEATTLE, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- The Mariners still haven't figured out John Lackey, who pitched nine shutout innings Monday, leading the LA Angels to a 6-0 victory over Seattle.

Lackey (16-8) scattered seven hits, didn't issue a walk and struck out five Mariners. It was the third time he's beaten Seattle in three starts this season. The Mariners haven't scored a run in 24 straight innings against him.
