MLB: Chicago Cubs 5, Milwaukee 3

CHICAGO, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Jacque Jones had two RBI and scored the go-ahead run on an error in a four-run seventh Tuesday as the Chicago Cubs beat Milwaukee 5-3.

The Cubs moved 2 1/2 games ahead of the Brewers in the NL Central. Chicago has a two-game lead over St. Louis in the division.

Corey Hart drove in all three runs for the Brewers, who have lost five straight and 15 of their last 20 games.

Trailing 3-1, the Cubs rallied in the seventh. First Cliff Floyd was hit by Milwaukee starter Jeff Suppan. Scott Linebrink then entered and allowed an infield single to Mark DeRosa. Jones followed with a double to center, scoring both runners to tie the game at 3-3. An error by Linebrink enabled Jones to score the go-ahead run.
