ANAHEIM, Calif., Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Shaun Marcum gave up two runs on eight hits in six innings Saturday night, as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Los Angeles Angels, 9-2.
Marcum (11-5) struck out one and walked two, to earn his sixth win in seven starts.

Troy Glaus had three hits, including a two-run homer, and scored three runs. John McDonald, Frank Thomas and Gregg Zaun each drove in two runs for the Blue Jays, who won for just the second time in six games.
Orlando Cabrera and Jeff Mathis each drove in a run for the Angels.
Losing pitcher Joe Saunders (7-2) gave up five runs on nine hits in 5 1/3 innings, as the Angels lost for the third time in their last four games.
LA saw its lead over second-place Seattle in the AL West drop to one game.
