NFL: Indianapolis 37, Detroit 10

INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Peyton Manning completed 23-of-27 passes for 233 yards and three touchdowns in the first half Saturday night, as the Indianapolis Colts beat Detroit, 37-10.

Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Dallas Clark, Craphonso Thorpe and Aaron Moorehead each caught touchdown passes for the defending Super Bowl champion Colts (1-2), who won for the first time in the preseason.

Manning's replacement, Jim Sorgi, completed 16-of-23 passes for 171 yards and two TDs.

Detroit played without quarterback Jon Kitna, who sat out with back spasms. J.T. O'Sullivan, starting in Kitna's place, completed 24-of-34 passes for 232 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions.
