MLB: Pittsburgh 4, Houston 1

HOUSTON, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Jose Bautista hit two homers and drove in three runs Saturday night as the Pittsburgh Pirates beat Houston, 4-1, for their third straight win.

Bautista's first round-tripper was a two-run shot in top of the fourth. The second was a solo homer in the sixth -- his 12th homer of the season.

Pittsburgh’s other run came in the top of the ninth on Josh Phelps' fifth home run of the season. Ronny Paulino had three hits for the Pirates, who have won four of their last five games.

Winner Matt Morris (8-8) gave up an earned run and only four hits in six innings.

Matt Capps earned his 13th save.

Houston scored its only run on a double-play groundout by Lance Berkman in the sixth.

The Astros have lost six of seven.

Loser Troy Patton (0-1) gave up three earned runs and six hits in 5 2/3 innings.
