PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Ji-Young Oh and Sophie Gustafson both shot 6-under 66 Friday to lead Lorena Ochoa by a shot after one round of the Safeway Classic at Portland, Ore.

Ochoa, the No. 1 ranked player in women's golf, was cheered on by a group of 150 fans who flew from Mexico at the expense of one of Ochoa's sponsors.

"They had Mexican flags. It was like playing at home," said Ochoa, who won the Women's British Open and the Canadian Open in her last two starts. "Hopefully they enjoyed it and it will be nice to have a good weekend together."

Ochoa was alone in third place, with Leta Lindley and Angela Stanford tied for fifth at 68.

Ochoa has five victories on the LPGA Tour this year. The British Open was her first major championship.
