ORCHARD PARK, N.Y., Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Chris Redman threw a one-yard TD pass to George Cooper with 2:38 remaining Friday night, giving the Atlanta Falcons a 13-10 exhibition win over Buffalo.

With Michael Vick embroiled in legal problems Atlanta has turned to Joey Harrington as its starting quarterback and Redman as his backup.

Redman had to come back into the game Friday night when third-string quarterback D.J. Shockley was carried off the field with an injury to his left knee.

Buffalo's J.P. Losman completed seven of 13 passes for 78 yards but could not get his team into the end zone.

Harrington drove Atlanta 69 yards on 10 plays during its opening possession, only to have the march halted on fourth down at the Buffalo one-yard line.

The Bills' only touchdown came on a 10-yard throw in the third quarter from third-team quarterback Trent Edwards to Roscoe Parrish.
