NFL: Miami 11, Kansas City 10

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 16 (UPI) -- John Beck followed Patrick Cobbs' late TD run with a two-point conversion Thursday night, giving the Miami Dolphins an 11-10 exhibition win over Kansas City.

Cobbs scored on a seven-yard run with 4:36 remaining and Miami Coach Cam Cameron decided to go for the win. Beck, a rookie quarterback out of BYU, made good on the conversion run.

Beck drove the Dolphins 73 yards in seven plays to the winning touchdown.

The game's only other touchdown came when Kansas City's Brodie Croyle hit Chris Hannon with a 21-yard throw in the second period that gave the Chiefs a 10-3 halftime lead.

The Chiefs' Casey Printers hit on eight of 10 passes for 122 yards without a touchdown or interception.

Kansas City has lost both its exhibition games, while Miami is 2-0.
