MLB: Minnesota 11, Seattle 3

SEATTLE, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Second baseman Alexi Casilla went 3-for-6 with two RBI Tuesday, fueling Minnesota's 18-hit offense that powered the Twins to an 11-3 win over Seattle.

Every Twins regular got a hit but third baseman Nick Punto. The Twins' rare offensive outburst ended their five-game losing streak, as well as Haracio Ramirez' perfect record at home. Ramirez was 6-0 in seven home starts but gave up six runs on nine hits and three walks in five innings against Minnesota.

Jason Bartlett hit a solo homer and Justin Morneau drove in two runs for the Twins to help make a winner of Matt Garza (2-3), who had received just 15 runs of support in his previous six starts. He gave up three runs on nine hits with a pair of walks and strikeouts over seven-plus innings.

Jose Vidro drove home two runs for Seattle, which saw its three-game winning streak and opportunity to take sole possession of the AL wild card lead fall by the wayside
