NFL: Green Bay 13, Pittsburgh 9

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Aaron Rodgers threw for Green Bay's only touchdown Saturday night as the Packers beat Pittsburgh, 13-9, to spoil Coach Mike Tomlin's pre-season home debut.

Rodgers was 18-for-27 for 168 yards, after Brett Favre played the first four series. Favre was only 2-for-7 for seven yards.

Pittsburgh starter Ben Roethlisberger completed both his passes for 14 yards in two series. Back-up Charlie Batch was 3-for-5 for 97 yards and a touchdown for the Steelers, and Brian St. Pierre was 10-for-23 for 99 yards.

Tomlin is the former Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator.
