MLB: Florida 7, N.Y. Mets 5

NEW YORK, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Miguel Cabrera hit a tie-breaking two-run single in the top of the eighth Saturday night as the Florida Marlins beat the New York Mets, 7-5.

The hit was Cabrera's second of the contest. Florida's Josh Willingham hit a grand slam homer in the seventh, and finished with three hits and five RBI.

Two other players had two hits for the Marlins, who won their third straight game.

The winner was Justin Miller (4-0). Kevin Gregg earned his 26th save this season.

New York's David Wright hit two homers -- one a two-run blast in the fourth, and the other a solo shot in the sixth. Luis Castillo drove in one run and one scored on Miguel Olivo's seventh inning throwing error for the Mets, who have lost three straight and four of five.

The losing pitcher was Aaron Heilman (7-4).
