PHOENIX, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Orlando Hudson drove in the go-ahead run in the seventh Thursday night as the Arizona Diamondbacks beat Pittsburgh, 4-2, for their sixth win in seven games.
The Diamondbacks increased their lead over second-place San Diego to three games in the National League West.

Doug Davis (9-10) remained unbeaten over his last six starts, allowing two runs on five hits in seven innings.
The loss went to reliever Shawn Chacon (4-3), who gave up Hudson's RBI single in the seventh. Tony Clark added an insurance run in the eighth with his 11th homer of the season.
