MLB: Houston 8, Florida 2

MIAMI, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Roy Oswalt allowed four hits over six innings Friday night to win his third straight start as Houston defeated Florida, 8-2.

Oswalt improved to 11-6, giving up one of the Marlins' runs and striking out five.

Houston was held scoreless through six innings, but rallied late with Eric Bruntlett driving in four runs. He had a two-run double in both the seventh and eighth innings.

Dontrelle Willis (7-11) continued in his slump, having gone 0-8 in 12 starts since May 29. He gave up three runs on six hits over 6 1/3. It was Florida's ninth loss in 11 games.
