Cowboys Glenn to have right knee surgery

SAN ANTONIO, July 31 (UPI) -- The Dallas Cowboys announced Tuesday that wide receiver Terry Glenn will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

Glenn, 33, left practice early Sunday and has missed the last two days of practice. He has a tiny cyst on the back of his right kneecap.

Team owner Jerry Jones said he expects Glenn to miss just two weeks and be ready for the start of the season.

In his fourth season with Dallas in 2006, Glenn caught 70 passes for 1,047 yards and six touchdowns. In his NFL career, Glenn has 593 receptions for 8,823 yards and 44 touchdowns in 136 games with Dallas, Green Bay and New England.
