MLB: Houston 7, LA Dodgers 4

HOUSTON, July 24 (UPI) -- Craig Biggio belted a grand slam Tuesday, powering the Houston Astros to a 7-4 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Biggio announced his retirement, effective at the end of the season, earlier Tuesday.

Morgan Ensberg drove in two runs for the Astros, who have won two of their last three.

Houston starter Jason Jennings (2-6) went six innings, allowing three runs on six hits with two walks and four strikeouts.

Jeff Kent homered for the Dodgers, who have lost four of six.

Dodgers starter Mark Hendrickson gave up three runs on six hits. Rudy Seanez (6-2) suffered the loss, giving up four runs in part of Houston's six-run sixth inning.
