UMAG, Croatia, July 25 (UPI) -- Viktor Troicki unexpectedly reached the quarterfinals of the Croatia Open Wednesday when he defeated top-seeded Novak Djokovic 2-6, 6-4, 7-5.
This is only the third ATP tournament for Troicki this year and he was eliminated in the opening round of the other two.

He will take on Carlos Berlocq in the quarterfinals after Berlocq outlasted Victor Hanescu 6-7 (13-15), 6-4, 6-2.
In another quarterfinal matchup, Guillermo Canas will meet Gilles Simon. Canas was a 6-4, 6-3 winner over Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo and Simon eliminated Marin Cilic 7-5, 2-6, 6-3.
