MLB: Cleveland 7, Texas 5

ARLINGTON, Texas, July 19 (UPI) -- Grady Sizemore highlighted the offense with a home run and two RBI Thursday night as the Cleveland Indians fought off Texas, 7-5.

C.C. Sabathia capitalized on the run support to become the first pitcher in the majors this year to reach the 13-win mark.

Sabathia (13-4) gave up four runs on nine hits in six innings.

Trot Nixon and Ben Francisco also backed up Sabathia, driving in two runs each.

Cleveland got to Kameron Loe (5-8) for six runs on six hits in six innings.

Sizemore gave the Indians a 5-4 lead with a homer to open the fifth. Casey Blake then tripled and eventually scored on Ryan Garko's ground out.

Joe Borowski worked the ninth for his 27th save, striking out Sammy Sosa -- who represented the potential tying run -- to end the game.
