Joe Ogilvie takes lead in PGA Tour event

MILWAUKEE, July 20 (UPI) -- Joe Ogilvie fired a 7-under 63 Friday that boosted him into a two-shot lead midway through the U.S. Bank Championship at Milwaukee.

Ogilvie turned in a 36-hole total of 10-under 130 and will take the lead into the weekend for the fourth time in his PGA Tour career. He has yet to win on the tour.

First-round leader Jeff Maggert (69) shared second place with Garrett Willis (68) at 132 while six players -- Steve Flesch (64), Tim Clark (65), Tim Herron (67), Craig Bowden (67), Bob Heintz (64) and Billy Mayfair (64) -- were all at 133.

Tony Finau, 17, made the cut in his first tournament as a professional. Finau shot a 65 Friday after an opening-round 75, and his 140 total allowed him to finish exactly on the cut line.

At 17 years, 10 months and six days, he became the fifth youngest player in PGA Tour history to make the 36-hole cut.
