"My caddie really set the tone for me on the back nine," Eaks said. "I might have played a little too safe at times, but it worked out. You just learn every day out here. I'm just so thankful that I get to play this tour."

The 55-year-old Eaks, who has three second-place finishes this year, dropped in back-to-back birdie putts at No. 8 and 9, and held off his nearest competition.

Vaughn (68) finished 14-under 202. Lonnie Nielsen (67) was third at 10-under 206, and Andy Bean (68) and D.A. Weibring (66) shared fourth at 9-under 207.
