MLB: Washington 14, Florida 10

MIAMI, July 13 (UPI) -- Dmitri Young drove in four runs Friday night to help the Washington Nationals beat Florida, 14-10.

Washington scored six times in the top of the fourth to build an 8-1 lead after 3 ½ innings.

Austin Kearns had one run, two hits and three RBI. Both Ronny Belliard and Felipe Lopez drove in two runs, while Nook Logan had two hits and scored four times for the Nationals, who have won three in a row.

The winning pitcher was reliever Saul Rivera (3-2).

Florida's Alfredo Amezaga hit a three-run homer and knocked in four runs. Jason Willingham also hit a three-run homer, Mike Jacobs had three runs and two hits -- one a solo homer in the second -- and Jacobs scored three runs for the Marlins, who have dropped two in a row.

Stater and loser Dontrelle Willis (7-8) surrendered eight earned runs and eight hits in 3 2/3 innings.
