HOUSTON, July 6 (UPI) -- Wandy Rodriguez hurled a complete-game four-hit shutout Friday night as the Houston Astros beat the New York Mets, 4-0.

Houston added three runs in the fifth as Lance Berkman hit a two-run homer, his 15th round-tripper of the season, and Hunter Pence hit an RBI double.

Pence had two of the seven hits for the Astros, who stopped a two-game skid.

Rodriguez (6-7) walked one batter and fanned eight in his second straight strong effort. He held Colorado to three hits in seven innings in a 12-0 rout Sunday.

Four players had one hit for the NL East-leading Mets, who have dropped three of four.

Losing pitcher Mike Pelfrey (0-7) yielded four earned runs and seven hits in six innings, with two walks and five strikeouts.
