MLB: Cleveland 2, Tampa Bay 1

CLEVELAND, June 29 (UPI) -- Ben Francisco had the first two hits of his big league career Friday night, including a solo homer in the ninth that gave Cleveland a 2-1 win over Tampa Bay.

Francisco, called up from Class AAA Buffalo, had only four major league at-bats prior to Friday night's game. His first hit was a single in the fourth.

He then slammed a 2-2 pitch from Shawn Camp (0-2) deep to left in the ninth as the Indians won for the fourth time in five games.

Cleveland starter Jake Westbrook allowed five hits over seven innings, but the win went to Joe Borowski (1-3), who worked the ninth.

Tampa Bay did not move a runner past first base after the second inning.
