ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., June 26 (UPI) -- Andy Gonzalez had a home run and three RBI Tuesday, powering the Chicago White Sox to a 6-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
Jim Thome also homered and Jon Garland pitched seven-plus innings for the White Sox. Garland (5-5) allowed one run on five hits.

This is the first time Chicago has won at least two in a row since May 20-22.
James Shields (6-3) gave up five runs on nine hits over seven innings for Tampa Bay, which has lost five of its last seven games.
Greg Norton homered for Tampa Bay's lone run.
