MLB: Milwaukee 11, Kansas City 6

MILWAUKEE, June 22 (UPI) -- Corey Hart keyed Milwaukee's 14-hit attack with a homer and four RBI Friday night in carrying the Brewers to an 11-6 whipping of Kansas City.

Hart's homer was a three-run shot as the Brewers won their fourth straight and their eighth out of nine. Ryan Braun and Tony Graffanino also hit home runs for Milwaukee.

Jeff Suppan (8-7) picked up the victory despite giving up five runs on nine hits in five innings.

Kansas City dropped its third straight, with Jorge De La Rosa (4-9) taking the loss. He surrendered seven runs on 10 hits in five innings and is winless in his last eight starts.

Hart had an RBI single as part of a four-run fourth that gave the Brewers a 6-2 lead.

Milwaukee, with its lead cut to one in the seventh, put two runners on with two out before Hart hit his ninth homer of the year.
