NEW YORK, June 15 (UPI) -- Oliver Perez teamed with three relievers on a five-hit shutout Friday night as the New York Mets ended the New York Yankees' nine-game winning streak, 2-0.

Perez (7-5) lasted 7 1/3 innings, giving up five hits and striking out six.

Billy Wagner was perfect in the ninth to pick up his 15th save.

The Mets had lost five straight and won for only the second time in 11 outings.

Jose Reyes had a solo homer and also drove in the Mets' other run.

After winning in his return to the Yankees last Saturday, Roger Clemens (1-1) suffered from a lack of support. He allowed the two runs on seven hits in 6 1/3 while striking out eight.

Perez had retired 12 straight when Derek Jeter doubled with one away in the eighth. Pedro Feliciano came on to replace Perez.
