Schiavone routed in Barcelona tennis

BARCELONA, Spain, June 13 (UPI) -- No. 1-seeded Francesca Schiavone won just two games Wednesday and was ousted from the inaugural Barcelona KIA tennis tournament in Spain.

Schiavone was given a bye into the second round of the $145,000 tournament because of her high seeding but qualifier Agnes Szavay obviously wasn't impressed and dispatched Schiavone, 6-1, 6-1.
