MLB: Tampa Bay 9, Florida 4

MIAMI, June 10 (UPI) -- Brendan Harris had a three-run homer and a career-high five RBI Sunday as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays beat Florida, 9-4.

Akinori Iwamura finished with two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored, and Raul Casanova had a solo homer and two runs scored for Tampa Bay, which won its second straight games and its sixth out of eight.

Starter Andy Sonnanstine (1-0) went seven innings and picked up his first major league win for the Devil Rays, giving up two runs on seven hits, with 10 strikeouts and no walks. He helped his own cause with two hits, one RBI and one run scored.

Marlins' starter Rick Vanden Hurk (1-2) surrendered five runs on six hits in five innings, with six strikeouts and three walks.

Jeremy Hermida, Miguel Cabrera and Miguel Olivo homered for Florida, which lost its second straight following a three-game winning streak.
